Abstract

The presentation is intended to give participants an overview of the nature of stroke and why the magnetic enhanced diffusion technology developed by Pulse Therapeutics is ideal for use in treatment, product development from concept through the current clinical prototype, and site installation process.

Biography

Mr Michael Sabo is Senior Director of R&D at Pulse Therapeutics, Inc. and has 18 years of experience in the application of magnetic fields in both the academic and medical research environments. His experience includes six years at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory where he was involved in the development of a resistive NMR magnet funded by the W.M. Keck Foundation. This was followed by nine years in the area of remotely operated medical devices at Stereotaxis, Inc. where he filled the roles of R&D engineer and preclinical studies manager. In 2009, he left this position to assist in developing this current start-up company and its treatment for stroke. He is also an avid Apiculturist and was the Illinois State Beekeeper of the Year in 2010.
